How to Heat A Strap on Dildo?

Having strap-on dildos in the bedroom can provide a great deal of pleasure as well as pure fun. Giving yourself the chance to enjoy some form of sexy time - single or with a partner - strap ons are that tool which allows you to do so. The "best" way to heat up a portable air heater is something many people are at least slightly curious about; near perfectly figuring out how to achieve this they have never quite managed.

If your strap on has any sort of vibrating feature, heating the dildo itself would be near impossible, lower end vibrators maintaining a cooler temperature than more premium models if at all. This guide will cover everything you need to know regarding heating a strap on dildo for optimum (personal) enjoyment.

Place a small amount of warm water in your hand and start warming it up. A metal or plastic core dildo when in direct skin contact will absorb that heat, rubbing it quickly in circular or side-to-side motions is what I find works best. Hand held devices require the hands to remain as still as possible, shaking the strap on dildo too much leads to all those unwanted uneven heats across the surface.

A heating pad or very low setting blanket can be useful, hand warming won't always be enough. Uniform heat is the end goal I am looking for, and to me at least, getting that all encompassing 'just right' temperature is part of the pleasure of using a strap on. Monitor it, but don't leave it unattended.

There is an option to heat the shoe without any electricity. I find it works well to use hot water in a bowl; dipping the strap into it for a few seconds is perfect. A hotter temperature does not always lead to a better experience.

As an alternative, wrapping a dampened towel around the strap of your dildo and microwaving it for 15-20 seconds will heat it up. Checking the temperature before inserting the strap on dildo is important - too much force applied incorrectly can and will burn yourself.

A lube warmer (of any kind) can be used to warm the strap, the warming being a secondary but still valuable feature.

This method can be combined with the water one mentioned above. Soaking a small cloth in warm water and wrapping it is simple and effective. More adventurous types can even create their own 'custom' vibrator using a food processor and/or lubricant.

Using a candle to heat up the dildo is another method I have tried. Carefully holding the strap near the flame (and removing it quickly) is all that is needed. Keep it a little distance away from the fire at all times, but all methods of heating should be approached with some degree of caution.

Finally, consider using a lubricant or massage oil as a heating agent. Warm the lubricant or oil in a bowl before applying it to the strap on dildo. Running your fingers along the strap (to both spread the oil and warm up your hands) is a simple but effective way of doing this. Following these steps should allow you to successfully heat up your strap on dildos

Keeping the strap on dildos warm for too long must be avoided; the 'proper' heating method will vary from dildo to dildo. Lube of some sort is and should always be used - safety (physical or otherwise) and/or maximum pleasure are both worth pursuing. Warmth and/or contact are part of the experience, but all methods should be used with care.
